Duration: 3 months in summer 2018
Job title: Research and Administration Intern
Job description:The EAB helps to understand the EU, promotes European integration, and supports various international cooperation projects. I worked on the Baladiya project, which focused on North African urban development. The internship was mostly logistical planning, so I spent a lot of time on Excel and Word. Other tasks included accompanying the group to trips to the House of Representatives and Parliament. These projects were interesting but what I got most out of my internship was language learning. This is a great internship for someone who desires to improve their capacity in German as the working language there is German. When you are speaking, writing, and listening to only German from 9-5 Monday through Friday, your German skills naturally improve. The people are also very kind and want to see you improve, so I highly recommend this as a place to grow in your language skills.
